Lactoria fornasini[edit]

Thornback cowfish
Thornback cowfish
  • ... that the thornback cowfish (pictured) has plate-like scales which are fused together to form a solid, box-like carapace? Source: "Head and body encased in a carapace formed of large, juxtaposed, mostly hexagonal bony plates ... typically quadrangular in cross section."

New enough, long enough, well cited. QPC done. Hook is within length, but I can't find the supporting quoted sentence in the cited source. Do you have the wrong ref or am I missing it? Also, I like the photo in the article - did you consider including in hook?

Please check hook citation. MB 22:14, 15 December 2018 (UTC)

@MB: Thank you for the review, I have added the image. The page range of the source is 345–349. I've made the link go to 349 because that is the main information about the fish, but 345 is the bit that describes the carapace, which is common to all the members of the family. Hook verified, everything good. MB 15:01, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
