  • ... that the call of Lagden's bushshrike (pictured) has been likened to hoop hoop or a toot toot? Source
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)

5x expanded by Casliber (talk). Self-nominated at 12:33, 8 February 2017 (UTC).

  • Review 5x expansion confirmed. Timely nominated. Earwig is clear. QPQ confirmed (not yet promoted, not a requirement. I WP:AGF about completion.) Hook is neutral, supported and cited by in line and on line source. Picture is in commons, out of copyright, and clear at 100 pix. No issues. GTG. 7&6=thirteen () 13:03, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
Comment So that we don't get into one of those painful DYK discussions later, one could quibble factually with the description of the call(s). Different ornithologists hear and report the multiplicity of calls differently. That is all noted by the many sources I have added to the article. The hook's characterization is supported by in line/on line source. 7&6=thirteen () 17:50, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
Agreed, which is why I put the "has been likened" in to address exactly that. I could even make it "has been likened by some" if we want to be real sticklers....Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 19:45, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
