List of The Firm episodes[edit]

Created/expanded by TonyTheTiger (talk). Self nom at 07:14, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

  • This is looking like The Litigators all over again, with a new twist. Are you sure there's nothing about the individual episodes? Otherwise, this is essentially a rehash of the earlier hook "... that the 2011–12 season's television adaptation of The Firm is a sequel to a 1991 novel that sold 7 million copies and a 1993 film that grossed $270 million worldwide?"" Crisco 1492 (talk) 04:45, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
  • I don't create articles for DYK. This article was created because it is needed for the reader. It is clear that near the 8th some of the details should be available. Currently, imdb.com tv.com and epguides.com all have minimal episode content. I am surprised nothing is up, but it surely will be very soon. I doubt we will even have to delay this nom.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 06:24, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
  • K... I'll check again in a couple of days. Is there a hook that doesn't repeat the old one available? Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:13, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
  • I've cobled together an article for the first episode. There is currently some dispute as to whether tonight's two-hour premiere includes one two-hour episode or two one-hour episodes. I have written the article as if the latter is the case. I am waiting for some of the professional reviewers post episode summaries that the major websites above link to.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 13:10, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

  • That's because there are also separate lists for each season which are much more in-depth (like this). As the series is new and has only one season so far, I'd keep the plots. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:17, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Anything for the plots? Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:14, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
    • I honestly don't know what I am suppose to do. All the GA episode lists have no plots. I don't know what sources I am suppose to use and was waiting for the veteran TV folks to come by. The show is doing so bad no one seems to be interested in tending to it.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 06:42, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
      • As I indicated above, season lists generally have the plot in them even if overall series lists don't. As this is a single season so far, I think having the plots is fine. Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:46, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
        • I am not contesting that. I am just hoping someone more expert at summarizing episodes steps in. I will do it, but I am not the best person to do it. P.S. we have plenty of time. December 11 is still on the board.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:28, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
  • I'm inclined to fail this one. The "episode list" content in this episode-list article is still very minimal (not much there!) and the proposed hook is for all intents and purposes the same as one that ran recently for another article about the show. --Orlady (talk) 20:07, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Doesn't work for me. Neither the newly suggested hook nor the article is particularly new. Much of the prose in the episode article comes from the article about the series, and that is another hook about the set-up for the series, with nothing in particularly to do with the episode list. The article about the series was featured in DYK several months ago, as noted above. There's another article about the show (about the double episode that inaugurated it) on the noms page. This is starting to look like a DYK manifestation of the Least publishable unit phenomenon. --Orlady (talk) 04:19, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Good idea! --Orlady (talk) 13:54, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
