List of York City F.C. players (fewer than 25 appearances)
[edit]- ... that Jock Collier, Tom Mitchell and Viv Busby are the only former York City F.C. players with fewer than 25 appearances to have managed the club?

- Slightly misleading hook; I doubt that Fergie played for York City. Sceptre (talk) 17:29, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

- Fergie never played for York City F.C. Obviously, zero is less than 25. I suggest: "... that Neil Warnock is the only former York City F.C. player to have played less than 25 games for the club and to have managed in the English top flight?" Sceptre (talk) 18:54, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- Amended as suggested. Mattythewhite (talk) 19:11, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- Article is new enough, long enough, nominated in time and have inline citations. While the hook is interesting and most certainly true, but it is not backed up by a source: The article which is listed as an inline citation only says that Warnock has been managing in the top flight. I understand that it might be hard to find such a source, but maybe we can find another hook, for instance about the three former players that have managed the club? - New hook in place, as suggested. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:11, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
