- ... that according to the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, the U.S. state of Michigan has seventeen baccalaureate colleges but only two tribal colleges?

- Sorry, I didn't see this come up on my watchlist. There is no central Carnegie list (you have to jump around their website to put the content together). I will propose an alt hook that is more directly cited. Ruby 2010/2013 13:35, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

5x expansion OK, good formating, expanded in acceptable timeframe the ALT1 hook that University of Michigan is Michigan's oldest university is supported by this source The University of Michigan is about an hour away in Ann Arbor... it is the state's oldest University founded in 1817 and this source Michigan joins the Union as the 26th state on January 26, 1837 -- Esemono (talk) 08:33, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
