  • The article is new enough, long enough, and within policy. I have some issues with the hooks. All three link and bold an inordinately large section of the text, which is an issue. The first should just link "nineteen women" and ALT 1 and 2 should probably just link women cabinet ministers of the Republic of Ireland" (with ALT1 reworked as I have done with ALT3). Of the three options, ALT1 is a bit boring, and ALT2 is, I think, too obscure to a broad audience and not as interesting as ALT1. Prefer ALT3 as a rework of ALT1. QPQ done. Image seems relevant and good to go (public domain). — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 23:29, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
  • @Insertcleverphrasehere: thanks for the prompt review, and glad to know there were no probs with the article.
You're absolutely right about overbolding in the main hook and ALT1 (my brain was a bit scrambled after several days polishing tables and timelines), and ALT3 is much better than ALT1. So I have reworked the main hook in less bold form as ALT4. I marginally prefer ALT4 to ALT3 ('cos ALT4 is more overviewy) but I'd be happy with ALT3 and can see the case for a more specific and quirky hook in the "note the oddity" tradition of hooks. Thanks again. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 02:23, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
I've struck down to ALT2. I'm fine with Alt 4, though Alt 3 is probably more likely to get clicks IMO. Up to you. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 02:35, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
@Insertcleverphrasehere: You're right. Time for me to snap out out of the scholar-style pedantry of writing it. So, yeah, go with the hookiest hook: ALT3. -BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 02:43, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
