Livermore Carnegie Library and Park

[edit]

Carnegie Building Main Entrance, Livermore, CA, 2012

  • ... that Livermore, California's Carnegie Library (pictured), completed in 1911, was not the first public library in Livermore, California?
  • ALT1:... that Livermore, California's Carnegie Library (pictured), completed in 1911, was the second public library in Livermore, California, replacing one opened in 1875 and closed in 1887?
  • ALT2:... that Livermore, California's Carnegie Library (pictured) started with just 250 books?

  • The article meets length and age criteria, as well as falling within applicable policies. Does not appear to be any close paraphrasing issues. The hooks aren't terribly "hooky", but the second sounds better to me. I'd probably prefer ALT2 (which I've added -Bruin2 let me know if you'd be all right with that). Otherwise, good to go.
