LocalWiki[edit]

Created by Mattsenate (talk), Dreamyshade (talk). Nominated by Dreamyshade (talk) at 03:32, 19 May 2013 (UTC).

  • Article date and length check out, but I'm not so sure about the hook. LocalWiki is an expansion of DavisWiki. Since, LocalWiki didn't exist at the founding of DavisWiki, DavisWiki couldn't be a project of LocalWiki. Open to a reword, or a different suggestion. --ThaddeusB (talk) 04:34, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Hmm, yes, stretching a bit to find an interesting hook. Maybe this would be more accurate wording: ALT1: ... that the project that inspired LocalWiki, DavisWiki for Davis, California, is used by at least half of area residents? Or a more direct option: ALT2: ... that LocalWiki's wiki software includes features for helping communities build collaborative maps? Dreamyshade (talk) 21:14, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Cool, that phrasing makes sense to me. The DavisWiki article could use some improvement though before it gets a spotlight; I'll try to work on that. Dreamyshade (talk) 21:59, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Is this ready to go yet? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:26, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
for ALT3. I held off on the checkmark earlier per nominators request to have some time to improve DavisWiki. Such time has now lapsed, so as far as I'm concerned we are good to go. --ThaddeusB (talk) 05:52, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
Grammatical error to correct - should be "...residents, led to the creation..." NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 03:17, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
