  • There is currently no consensus right now to merge it, just so you know. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 02:08, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
  • That's true. But this nomination cannot move forward until the issue is resolved, one way or another.Maile66 (talk) 16:10, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Do you or someone else want to move to resolve it? Generally from what I've noticed when clearing those backlogs, is the tags can sit for four years before anyone does anything (and those are the ones with discussions). Kevin Rutherford (talk) 19:31, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
  • I've just noted the proposed merge exists, as is appropriate on DYK nominations. While I understand your frustration, I have no opinion on the proposed merge itself. You are welcome to post a query about this on Wikipedia talk:Did you know. Maybe someone there can help you move it forward Maile66 (talk) 20:33, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Merge proposal closed as "no consensus". Article will remain stand-alone. Maile66 (talk) 00:50, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Just long enough! Was recent enough when nominated. The referencing isn't quite right. The sentence with the hook needs a reference afterwards - which we don't have. I presume it's in one of the references. We also don't have a reference for the stratotanker sentence at the end. The photo of the plane - it's historical sure- but is the plane in the museum? What the connection apart from that it's an old picture of the base? I do think this needs more about the museum - why was a 2006 opening possible? I'm sure I could find it in the references but I don't want to look, I want to be told in the article. Was it founded in 1994, or 2011? If it opened in 2011 what happened in 1994? Most of the history section is about the base not the museum. Secretlondon (talk) 20:58, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
I will address these issues in the coming days, as I have no motivation right now to do much else other than homework. I will also be going on a bit of a vacation this weekend (to the same place that I was before I nominated this), so it might not happen until Monday. I just realized that I have forgotten to do this, but I will do it later today, as I will not be busy...I hope. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 04:00, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Yeah, I keep spacing this. I'll do it now. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 20:20, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Okay, I have fixed it up. I am leaving the two dates there right now, as I have asked the secretary of the center whether it is 2006 or 2011 that they had the opening ceremony. The organization itself was founded in 2005, from what the source said. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 20:35, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Everything should check out, now! Kevin Rutherford (talk) 00:40, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Article is currently at 1462 characters of prose (too short) -- and it looks very thin on content. --Orlady (talk) 15:08, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
