Luis Salvador (politician)

  • ... that Luis Salvador became mayor of Granada in 2019, even though his party won only four of 27 seats? Source: "Los corporativos han elegido al candidato del Ciudadanos, Luis Salvador, que se ha sido investido con el apoyo de PP y Vox. Y ello en minoría absoluta, pese a tener solo cuatro de los 27 concejales". Translation: "The members have chosen the candidate from Citizens, who has been invested with the support of PP and Vox. And in an absolute minority, in spite of having only four of the 27 councillors" ([1])
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)
  • Comment: I've made a lot of articles recently but only this fact really took the biscuit and made me want to go to DYK. It's certainly not unusual to make a coalition government anywhere in the world, but it is unusual when the leader of the junior partner gets the top job! I think the Morphopsychology story about this candidate is more interesting, but I understand that hooks should not be negative.

Thank you for the review William Avery. It really was not top standard for me to include that source that only half justified the preceding sentence. I have replaced it with a source from El Independiente de Granada, in which it is explicit "Licenciado en Ciencias Políticas y de la Administración por la Universidad de Granada". Great. I may have been a little over zealous, as this is the first time I have done a review. William Avery (talk) 11:06, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
