Not a 2xBLP

Maggie Doyne[edit]

  • ... that American philanthropist Maggie Doyne was only 19 years old when she used her life savings of $5,000 to build a children's home in Nepal?

2x expanded and sourced (BLP) by MurielMary (talk). Self-nominated at 08:18, 21 November 2015 (UTC).

  • The 2x expansion and sourcing bit only applies to completely unsourced BLPs. Additionally, what I see from this and the reviewed edition is 3,960 characters compared to the previous 3,570 as well as 21 citations as opposed to 12. While the hook is interesting, its Time reference isn't working, and I'm not sure if Fast Company is reliable. Not eligible for DYK at this time. Snuggums (talk / edits) 06:13, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you for the review and pointers, much appreciated! This was my first nomination for DYK, so it's very helpful to have things so well explained. Thanks! MurielMary (talk) 06:25, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Happy to help. Just remember that for articles that are previously sourced and are not just recent creations, articles need to be 5x expanded or recently promoted to WP:Good articles to be eligible. Snuggums (talk / edits) 06:27, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
