Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi Memorial Lecture[edit]

Created by Jayadevp13 (talk). Self nominated at 16:54, 9 June 2013 (UTC).

  • Good article but some points:
  • "Indian cricketing legend" seems weasel in the lead, maybe former Indian captain
  • The History section needs to be improved. A brief note of the death of Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, his significance and possibly a picture will be relevant. Solomon7968 17:12, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Tito-bhai, the Board of Control for Cricket in India is notoriously fickle. I've added a ref from The Hindu where the the BCCI says it will be an ongoing event. Will it happen again in 2014 and what it will called then? I most certainly hope it goes ahead and will be called the same name. Just sayin', is all. • Needs a full review. Note that some of the quotes in the body of the article may need to be reset as blockquotes (see WP:MOSQUOTE#Block quotations), and all of the quotes should be in regular type, not italics. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:44, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
    • The history section and quote formatting have been improved, and the hook fact is cited. The article seems a little quote-heavy, but it still meets the 1,500-character requirement even without counting the quotations and content copied from another article.
