Maoulida Darouèche[edit]

  • Reviewed: Salvadori's pheasant (1/2)
  • Comment: Interesting due to the large differences between the events. Hardly anyone would choose those two events to compete in. I'm pretty sure he is the national record holder in both events but I can't find a source explicitly saying that.

5x expanded by Yellow Dingo (talk). Self-nominated at 08:47, 17 October 2016 (UTC).

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Date and 5x expansion confirmed, neutrality is fine, no plagiarism concerns detected (article largely translates statistics into prose). Hook is cited and is probably fine for interest given how different the sports are, although the hook should be mentioned in the actual body of the article, since per WP:LEAD, the lead should not introduce any information that is not in the body. That's not a DYK requirement, however, so with the QPQ done, this should be good to go. Canadian Paul 19:03, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

Comment: The hook would be much more interesting if it mentioned the Olympic Games. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:25, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

Restoring tick after the addition of the word "Olympian" to the hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:44, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
