Marion Coutts[edit]

Created by Morganfitzp (talk). Self-nominated at 01:25, 11 December 2016 (UTC).

  • Nice job, Morganfitzp--thanks for writing this up. Be nice if we got a picture. OK, new enough,long enough, no plagiarism that I see, etc. Only thing is that a couple of the paragraph don't have a citation at the end of it, but that's an easy fix. Drmies (talk) 04:38, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
  • Thanks Drmies. Added citations to paragraph ends and photo to section, as requested. Morganfitzp (talk) 13:33, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
  • Morganfitzp, I never got that notification, but you're good to go now. Happy new year, and thank you for your patience. Drmies (talk) 16:13, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
  • If I may be so bold at this late date, I'd like to suggest
ALT2 ... that artist and author Marion Coutts created a Cult of dogmatic cats?

  • --but I'll let BlueMoonset and Morganfitzp pick which hook they want. EEng is playing fast and loose, but it's close enough for DYK purposes. Drmies (talk) 17:13, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
@Drmies:? Yngvadottir (talk) 17:23, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
I like the Hermans hook because, 1) it links to an article, and 2) it's a far cry from Coutts' identity now as a lecturer and author. She's currently known as an installation artist, but the art world barely knows about her old band. Morganfitzp (talk) 17:28, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
  • OK, but what about Yngvadottir's, which has cats and dogs? Drmies (talk) 17:54, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Drmies, I think a little more mention of what these things are would be helpful while maintaining NPOV: Do Faced Hermans is a post-punk band, though the cats in Coutts' Cult are not necessarily dogmatic. Morganfitzp (talk) 14:28, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
