Martin Petzold[edit]

Created/expanded by Dr. Blofeld (talk), Gerda Arendt (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 10:01, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Article length is fine at 2114 chars of prose. QPQ Performed. Hook is correct and supported by refs. Well written and the refs check out for claims made. No problems found after using the duplication detector [1] However, before being featured as a DYK this article could use a little copyediting and formatting. Also, the intro is just a short sentence and should summarize the article better. If you like, I'm willing to help out with those issues when I get some time in a day or two. --Ultracobalt  (talk) 15:01, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, that would be nice, because I won't have time today, and not much tomorrow. - I nominated the very last day possible, knowing it was not polished yet (and not expecting a review this soon) ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:12, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
It's been two weeks without any action on the article or the review. Can some action be taken soon on the noted copyediting and formatting issues? BlueMoonset (talk) 03:02, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
I will look at it next week, and I pinged the reviewer, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:09, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, Gerda. Looking forward to seeing this pass and on the main page in the fullness of time. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:25, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
I added a fact. Regarding the lead: singer articles in both German and English are rather restricted in that respect, I don't know if we should make an exception here. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:46, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Length, date, and various aspects of this article check out, and this article was new enough at the time of its nomination to be eligible. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 04:11, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
