Mary Margaret Francis

[edit]
  • ... that Mary Margaret Francis is credited with an extensive role in helping her husband, Dick Francis, write his novels? Source: Carvajal, Doreen. "Mary Francis, 76, Quiet Force Behind Dick Francis's Novels". Retrieved 2018-10-28.

Interesting life, on good sources, offline sources accepted AGF. You made me laugh, DYK? The first sentence takes us from being born to writing short stories ;) - please split. She had polio and a child also made me laugh! Please read it all once more checking if every "he" and "she" points unmistakably at the right person, and better repeat a name in case of doubt. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:18, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, thanks for the review. How's it look now? Eddie891 Talk Work 21:46, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
It looks much better, but is now almost the opposite: too many times the full name. Perhaps move the shop thing somewhere else to keep editing novels and his comment together. Funny that she has the first child, but they have the second ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:57, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt: How about now? Eddie891 Talk Work 19:34, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
thank you! Perhaps mention a novel or two if it has an article? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:50, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but the article does not state that she is credited with an extensive role; in fact, it says the extent of her contribution has been debated. Perhaps you could rewrite the hook with a more specific fact, such as her quote about having all the credit, or her husband's quote about working as a team. Yoninah (talk) 21:40, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
  • Yoninah: Yoninah, It"s in the NYtimes article, added a sentence to the wikipedia article. May I also propose
  • Thanks for the alts. I think ALT2 is best. ALT2 hook ref verified and cited inline. Rest of review per Gerda Arendt. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 22:53, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
