Mary Tannahill

[edit]
  • ALT1: ... that American artist Mary Tannahill studied in Germany, where people mistreated her because they assumed she was an Englishwoman?

  • Interesting woman, good sources, thank you! I would like to know a bit more about her style rather than the many places where her art was shown. Article: I fixed a bare url, but please add publisher and date wherever known. How do you feel about an infobox? - Hooks: again I would like to hear something about what is special about her art. Mistreatment is not really it, imho ;) (+ if readers don't know the time before World War I, they will not even grasp why being English was not wanted) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:07, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
    • Hi, Gerda Arendt. Thanks for the thoughtful review, but I haven't been on Wikipedia much and don't anticipate that I will be able to add material on Tannahill's style any time soon. I am fine with closing the nomination since I unfortunately won't be able to put the work into the article to get it a pass.--Arthistorygrrl (talk) 00:45, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
  • All fine, I dropped "artist" from the hook, ready to wait a bit for a qpq, nothing else needed, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:40, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Ah, the hook looks better without "artist," so thanks for that! QPQ completed earlier than I thought possible, but then, it was a good way to procrastinate and not attend to something else. :) --Arthistorygrrl (talk) 00:55, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
