REVIEW - NEW, Long enough

DESIGN needs a link to the Department of Infrastructure

  • Done, but it's a redirect, there is no (and probably never will be an) article for the Department of Infrastructure as it no longer exists. Liamdavies (talk) 12:03, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
That's an interesting thing in itself, why doesn't it exist? The redirect doesn't really answer that question. Not a hold up to the DYK, but could be a whole new DYK. Ajh1492 (talk) 19:50, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Can you somehow provide a link for low floor island platform

And link polycarbonate or link into Polycarb as a roofing material.

Also put in a link for Shunts, some people know them as switches. :)

  • Done, linked to sidings (it's the closest option). Liamdavies (talk) 12:03, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

The hook might be a little big with the photo, I'm not sure if it brings any value...

  • I'm open to suggestions, and the photo is optional, one alternative could be:
I like the original one. My question do you really need a photo? Does it really convey anything that makes the hook more compelling? Ajh1492 (talk) 19:47, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
  • I think a picture always helps to tell a story, and hence, helps a hook. It is a picture of the very thing that the article is about, I don't see how it could not help. The lead hook also needs a picture, so if there are no others, this hook picture could be used as the lead. I would prefer the picture, but per Wikipedia:Did you know#How a DYK nomination makes its way to the main page it's really what the person/admin building the prep areas wants, having a picture just gives them flexibility and more choice. That's all for the first pass. Ajh1492 (talk) 09:22, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, for starting. Liamdavies (talk) 12:03, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Are there any more content issues you've found? (I've done a little rewording for clarity) Liamdavies (talk) 05:17, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Good to go! Great article! Ajh1492 (talk) 14:29, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
