Meta von Salis
[edit]... that Swiss feminist Meta von Salis (pictured) was a regular correspondent of Friedrich Nietzsche in the 1880s?

- This article is a fivefold expansion and is new enough and long enough and the image is in the public domain. The hook fact does not have an inline citation, and as I understand it, the reference at the end of the paragraph mentions her meeting Friedrich Nietzsche but not having a regular correspondence with him. So a new source or a new hook is needed. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:03, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
- alt1: ... that Swiss feminist Meta von Salis (pictured) was appalled when it was suggested that she marry her friend Friedrich Nietzsche?
- alt2: ... that Meta von Salis (pictured) was the first Swiss woman to obtain a doctorate?
- Thanks Cwmhiraeth. You're right that it wasn't explicitly mentioned in the source. How about these alts? Alt2 is probably more relevant but a bit boring; alt1 is a bit trivial but has the appeal of mentioning Nietzsche. 97198 (talk) 05:38, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- Both of the new hooks are acceptable and have inline citations (one is hidden away in a footnote at the bottom of p. 390). I found no neutrality or copyright issues so this is good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:04, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
