Meuse (department)[edit]

  • ... that the French department of Meuse has several communes that are completely depopulated?

5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self-nominated at 06:33, 30 September 2015 (UTC).

  • Sufficently expanded from 124 words of prose to over 800. Nice, simple but intriguing hook. I did some checks for copyvio and found no serious copyvio, although the first sentence I checked closely duplicated one already on the Treaty of Verdun. This isn't a problem for me, as Wikipedia is open source, and the sentence only appears on Wkipedia, but because I didn't expect that to happen, I did more checks than usual on random phrases through the article and found nothing else. Offline sources accepted in good faith. The Tourism section could be expanded to further boost the word count, as it is basically just a gallery at the moment, what are these places and what makes them tourist attractions? But I see no reasons why this shouldn't be OK to go. Good work! Mabalu (talk) 13:56, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
BTW, I prefer the alternative hook for wording as it's a bit easier to understand. Mabalu (talk) 17:01, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
