Mine Gap Run[edit]

  • ... that Mine Gap Run is designated as a coldwater fishery despite being completely devoid of fish?

  • This article is new enough and long enough. I would have approved the nomination except for the fact that the source states "We did not find any fish" rather than the article and hook's more sweeping statement "completely devoid of fish" which is not quite the same thing. If you suggest an alternative hook and alter the article to reflect this I could approve the nomination, whereas if I suggest an alternative hook, someone else will be needed to approve it. • @Cwmhiraeth: ALT 1: ... that Mine Gap Run is designated as a coldwater fishery even though no fish have been observed in it? Mentioning the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission would make it overly wordy and uninteresting.
  • ALT 2: ... that Mine Gap Run is designated as a coldwater fishery despite being acidic and infertile? --Jakob (talk) 12:20, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. Both ALT hooks are supported by inline citations but I prefer ALT1. QPQ has been done and I detected no policy issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:43, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
