Munich Serbian Psalter

[edit]

A miniature depicting the Nativity of Mary

Created by VVVladimir (talk). Self nominated at 17:40, 17 February 2014 (UTC).

  • Length, date ok. Non-English refs accepted AGF. Photo is free on commons. But the hook fact (the Bavaria part) needs a direct reference. --Soman (talk) 02:28, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
It was easy to fix, please check. Great article, btw. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 06:44, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Vejvančický. I also added a direct reference in the History section after "In 1689, he gave the book to the Gotteszell Monastery in the Bavarian Forest" (it was sourced with "ref 13" several sentences after it). I suppose 1689 counts as the late 17th century. I didn't use this specific year, because the man who gave the psalter could've returned to Bavaria several years before that. If it's not a problem regarding length, maybe it'd be a good idea to link miniature and/or illuminated. Vladimir (talk) 15:51, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. I can't get the link to work, but approving AGF. --Soman (talk) 00:14, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
