Murder of Dee Dee Blancharde

[edit]

  • Comment: Obviously I have a date request in mind: June 14, the two-year anniversary of the body's discovery.

  • New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. I have struck the ALT1 hook for sensationalism. The first hook does not quote the source accurately: the source puts it as a case of "the abuse victim killing the parent". I think this change should be made in the article as well. The first hook is also a bit long; have you thought of a shorter/more concise hook in the meantime? QPQ done. Yoninah (talk) 09:43, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
@Yoninah: The edit to more accurately reflect the source shortened it a bit. Daniel Case (talk) 14:14, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
  • OK. But it needs to be changed in the article, too, I would write the hook this way:
  • ALT0a: ... that Munchausen by proxy expert Marc Feldman says the murder of Dee Dee Blancharde, discovered two years ago today, is the first instance he knows of where the abused child killed the abusive parent?
  • I have to go offline for Shabbat now. Yoninah (talk) 15:55, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
Wow, that's early for this time of year ... are you down in Tierra del Fuego or somewhere like that ? The article is fixed, BTW. Daniel Case (talk) 22:57, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Actually, it's really late – summertime in Israel. Thanks for the fixes. I tweaked the ALT0a wording to reflect your changes. ALT0a hook refs verified and cited inline. 2 images are fair use, one is public domain. ALT0a good to go. Yoninah (talk) 19:21, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
