Museum of Death[edit]

5x expanded by Panyd (talk). Self nominated at 14:48, 28 December 2014 (UTC).

  • Comment - the Infobox attraction template is incorrectly adding the article to amusement park categories. It should use Infobox museum instead. — Brianhe (talk) 02:31, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
  • I've tweaked the intro to acknowledge the second location - I'm not entirely sure that a museum infobox would be appropriate, as when you weigh the two types against each other the attraction box has more relevant options. Thoughts? PanydThe muffin is not subtle 15:17, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
The infobox formatting is fine, but the article is still in the category "defunct amusement rides" because you are using {{Infobox attraction}}. I really think he only way to present it correctly is to stack {{Infobox museum}}: probably one for California, one for Louisiana. Brianhe (talk) 17:25, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
  • I've stacked them up now. I attempted to expand an existing infobox template. Nothing good happened. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 20:38, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
Improved formatting a bit. I think formatting is OK now. Article needs a DYK review which I should recuse myself from due to involvement in expansion. — Brianhe (talk) 18:17, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Brianhe has done so much to help this now that I've added their name to the credits. Article wouldn't be half as good without them. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 12:26, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
Interesting article on good sources, offline accepted AGF. Thanks for solving the infobox issue. Hooks are both interesting and sources, I like the original better but would pipe link to Bluebeard, probably better known than the real name. Mentioning Pink Floyd would also be a possibility. I don't think we need the aka of the founder in the second infobox, coords would make more sense there. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:16, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
I've made the changes. Had to email them for the address of the new place but I found the coordinates eventually! PanydThe muffin is not subtle 19:47, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for that effort! Still suggest as a choice the piped

all, guess which I prefer ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:56, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
ALT3 proposed: ... that the Museum of Death owns the head of Bluebeard and a Kevorkian suicide machine? — Brianhe (talk) 22:31, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
For my taste, the shorter one hits harder, but I leave it to prep builder,
ALT3 is also sourced, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:43, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
