  • ALT1:... in his book Mysterious New Mexico, Ben Radford describes the use of scientific techniques to investigate thirteen cases of purported paranormal phenomena?
  • ALT2:... Ben Radford's book Mysterious New Mexico resulted from his publisher's invitation to use the scientific techniques he had used on mysteries all around the world to investigate stories from his own home state?

  • Is that picture supposed to be related? It doesn't look like it. APerson (talk!) 02:10, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
  • The picture is of the author conducting his investigation into the image that became known as the Santa Fe Courthouse Ghost, which is the subject of chapter 5 in this book. Specifically he is applying some insects to the camera to see how those images compare to the "ghostly" images.VaDawn (talk) 01:33, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. The ALT2 hook is too long, ALT0 is also long and a bit convoluted, so I would suggest going for ALT1, which has an inline citation. The article is neutral and I detected no close paraphrasing. The image is appropriately licensed but is difficult to understand at thumbnail size, and personally I would only use it if the hook was referring to that particular investigation.
