Nanticoke Creek[edit]

  • ... that Nanticoke Creek has been erroneously referred to as Lee's Creek, Miller's Creek, Robbins Creek, Bobbs Creek, Rummage Creek, and Warrior Run Creek?

Moved to mainspace by Jakec (talk). Self nominated at 14:35, 15 March 2015 (UTC).

  • Length and date verified, although the Hydrology section is hard to follow and some data would be better presented in a table, IMO. This would make the article shorter, but still long enough for DYK. No copyright problems detected and sources are good. Hook fact accepted on good faith, although it's somewhat vague. Why erroneous? The reference should also include precise page number(s). I propose the following alt hook which I think is more interesting:
ALT That mining has substantially altered the hydrology and topography of the Nanticoke Creek's watershed?
