  • Note: struck the original hook as it was 224 prose characters, well above the maximum 200 allowed for hooks. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:23, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
  • I unstruck it and shortened it. SL93 (talk) 23:27, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough and long enough. It is well cited, and neutrally written. I cannot find evidence of any copyright violations. I find hooks one and two somewhat uninteresting; ALT2 seems by far the best to me, but the inline citation for that needs a page number. I also wonder whether the Duluth Lynching could be worked into the hook, as it seems relevant. Finally, there the occasional odd phrase in the article; the lead for instance, has "group which helped achieve women's right to vote" which reads very strangely, at least to me. • I will ping Hildabast for a page number. I think that sentence sounds correct. SL93 (talk) 07:06, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks! Added the page number, shortened that sentence, and added an alternative hook with the Duluth lynching.Hildabast (talk) 11:32, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
  • Excellent, thank you. This is GTG with ALT3: I have struck the remaining hooks, per the above. Vanamonde (talk) 13:40, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
