New York City (John Lennon and Yoko Ono song)[edit]

  • ALT1:... that in "New York City", John Lennon responded to U.S. government officials who wanted to deport him?
  • Reviewed: Lectionary 311
  • Comment: I am not sure if the longer or shorter version of the hook is better

  • Why is this song disambiguated as a John Lennon and Yoko Ono song when only Lennon is credited as writer?
  • I assume that is because it was first released on a joint John Lennon/Yoko Ono album. That was the way the origibnal redirect was set up and I just expanded that, although I think I created a redirect from simply New York City (John Lennon song). Personally I have no preference, and would be fine moving this to New York City (John Lennon song), or with leaving it as is. Rlendog (talk) 17:22, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Full review needed. The issue of whether to move or not can be addressed as part of the review, as the author/nominator is willing to move it if appropriate. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:52, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Date and length fine. I personally think the original hook is better. Good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 07:47, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
