Newborn monument[edit]

A photograph showing the Newborn sculpture in Kosovo, 2008

Created/expanded by Arianit (talk). Nominated by Gilliam (talk) at 09:52, 30 March 2013 (UTC).

  • ALT1: ... that Kosovo built the 9 ton, 3 by 24 by 1 meter (9.8 by 79 by 3 foot) Newborn monument (pictured) in only ten days to celebrate its independence?

(The dimensions can be tweaked, but I think it's important to mention the sheer size of this thing in addition to the speed with which it was built. Andrew327 22:03, 30 March 2013 (UTC))

  • ALT 1 is fine by me. - Gilliam (talk) 09:41, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
  • New article at time of nomination, prose 3.1k, not a BLP. Article is neutral and well cited. Article is interesting. Both hooks are short enough.
  • Both hooks are cited within the article.
  • There does seem to be too close paraphrasing between the article, and cite 3. Martin451 (talk) 07:00, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Nominator has not worked on this article since April 9. Please do work with the suggestions as raised above, otherwise we do need to delist this nomination. —♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 12:21, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Good catch, I'm not the original submitter, but I fixed the more egregious paraphrasing issues. Andrew327 19:43, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
It's good to go now, I would argue. —♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 08:43, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
