Nezihe Araz[edit]

  • ... that Turkish journalist and playwright Nezihe Araz was fired from her job at a newspaper because a photo attached to her report showed an Arab man urinating, and angered the King of Iraq?

  • The article is new enough and long enough. I was able to detect no close paraphrasing and the article appears neutral; the mostly Turkish-language sources seem authoritative. The hook is very interesting and short enough; although it may seem negative, it does not refer to a living person and it appears to be neutral enough to be mentioned in her Hürriyet obituary, so I believe it is acceptable. However, QPQ is necessary because the nominator has 7 DYK credits and has not been done as of yet. Toдor Boжinov 11:53, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
Hi TodorBozhinov, thank you for taking the time to review this. The QPQ should be fine, as shown above at the time of nomination, as I have reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Těšín electoral district (Czechoslovakia). However, if there are any problems with that, please let me know and I'd be more than happy to review another. --GGT (talk) 16:17, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
Hmm, indeed you did, and now I remember seeing it at first and then not anymore. I wonder if it was a bug or I got distracted somehow. Sorry about that, you're good to go! Toдor Boжinov 17:44, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
