Night of the Strangler[edit]

  • ... that some moviegoers at Chicago's Loop Theater in 1972 wondered Is the Father Black Enough? Source: "The Loop premiered Is the Father Black Enough? on October 13, 1972." from Butters (2015), p. 91.
    • ALT1:... that there is no strangler in the 1972 film Night of the Strangler? (as a non-wordplay hook referring to the article-name title of this many-titled film) Source: "But there is no strangler! And nobody gets strangled! Of all the puzzles presented by the twist-filled picture, the most perplexing is why Houck and company chose to call it The Night of the Strangler." from David Sterritt, writing for TCM

  • The prose portion of the article has been expanded fivefold from 1,038 characters to 5,349 characters. It's long enough, neutral and I cannot see any copyright violations. Personally I love ALT1, and I think that would attract the most attention, so if it's okay with you Squeamish Ossifrage, I think we should go with that one. The first hook is cited in the Reception and legacy section with an offline source, while ALT1 is cited with an inline citation in the Production section. QPQ has been done. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:46, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
