O magnum mysterium (Lauridsen)

  • Reviewed: to come
  • Comment: Open for other suggestions, listen. - Suggesion for Christmas Day, 25 December

Converted from a redirect by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self-nominated at 15:32, 15 December 2020 (UTC).

  • Meets DYK criteria for newness and length. No copyvios detected (the libretto is, of course, Public Domain). Hook is translated from the German. A possible Alt1 hook might be sourced to one of the English-language refs cited in the article, e.g., " O magnum mysterium is as sensitive and spiritual as you could possibly wish for" (ref #5); or, " O magnum mysterium launched Lauridsen's career" (ref #3). QPQ pending.  JGHowes  talk 19:46, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for looking! I reviewed now Template:Did you know nominations/America, Why I Love Her. "career launching" is not inspired enough for my taste, and the quote with this "you" in it seems also a bit tricky to phrase in a hook. I learned this new word "imperturbable" and liked it ;) - I'll see if I can find something as exciting in English but not today or tomorrow. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:05, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
  • Gerda, this needs to be finished and approved if it's going to make the December 25 set. Yoninah (talk) 13:54, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
