Octavian Smigelschi[edit]

ALT 1: ... that Octavian Smigelschi's depiction of the Three Magi in the Romanian Orthodox cathedral in Sibiu may have been inspired by portraits of actual princes who ruled in the three Romanian provinces?

ALT 2: ... that before Octavian Smigelschi painted the Romanian Orthodox cathedral in the Transylvanian city of Sibiu, he traveled extensively in the Romanian Old Kingdom and Bukovina in order to study church art?

ALT 3: ... that Octavian Smigelschi, who was an art teacher in Dumbrăveni, took a six-year leave of absence when he started to paint the Romanian Orthodox cathedral in Sibiu, and then retired?
