Operation Pincushion[edit]

Created by Georgejdorner (talk). Self nominated at 17:46, 27 October 2014 (UTC).

  • Georgejdorner, may I suggest that this nomination and the one for Operation Momentum be combined and use the main hook here, but with both articles bolded? The fact that you use the same hook as the main hook here and the ALT1 hook there is a pretty strong indication that they should be, but it's up to you. • I'd prefer not. The repetition is as much an artifact of my lack of imagination as anything, and I don't care to deal with the complications of a multiple submission.Georgejdorner (talk) 17:47, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. The original hook and ALT2 both have inline citations for their facts but ALT1 does not so I have struck it. The article is neutral but is referenced to book sources not available on line so I was unable to assess whether there was any close paraphrasing. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:02, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
  • I have supplied an inline cite for ALT1 so that it can be reinstated. And in all fairness, there should be a copy vio/paraphrase check. Amazon.com sometimes allows online checks.Georgejdorner (talk) 19:11, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
