Pakistan–Afghanistan barrier[edit]

  • ... that the Pakistani proposals for the construction of a mutual border barrier to prevent movement of insurgents were opposed by Afghanistan?

Created by Faizan (talk). Self nominated at 13:07, 1 August 2014 (UTC).

Length (just barely), references and history verified. Wish a better hook were available but there's not much to work with. Daniel Case (talk) 03:44, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
You're right, the hook is a little dull. How about something along the lines of:
^Not sure if sarcasm :p Mar4d (talk) 16:50, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Not sarcasm, just an attempt to find a different hook. Any ideas? Yoninah (talk) 18:40, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
  • ALT2: ... that Pakistan has been trying to put up a fence on its border with Afghanistan since 2005? Yoninah (talk) 22:04, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
This one's good, too. Daniel Case (talk) 22:12, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
I think that the first hook proposed by Yoninah was rather more interesting. Anyhow, good to go with both the alternate hooks. Regarding QPQ, I got five DYK credits in total, 4 days ago, so I needed to review another article. I have reviewed Chicken Licken (restaurant). Faizan 14:25, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
