Patrick Burris[edit]

  • ... that judoka Patrick Burris won his place in the 1972 US Olympic team by being the first person to ever throw previous national champion, Paul Maruyama?

  • 2x expanded within seven days, prose long enough, AGF on citation for hook, within policy, QPQ done. Ready for DYK. Kges1901 (talk) 10:11, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
  • While the article is new enough and looks acceptable for DYK prose-wise, I have one issue with the article. The citations. The formatting isn't bad, but the lack of info about the sources in the citations is where the article falls apart for DYK. For the offline sources, there either needs to be links or page and volume numbers of the publications the articles were published in. editorEهեইдအ😎 18:01, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
  • I believe I've addressed all of the citation issues. Page, volume, and issue #'s have been specified. Additionally, I reformatted the citations to ensure the authors and editors are displayed. Also ensured The Oklahoman article was externally linked. Hope that works! Dnforney (talk) 22:10, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
