  • Comment: I wonder if this might be considered for April Fools' Day? The Irish of this time do not have a "king" in the same way that Britain does. The north-east already falls under the British monarchy. The rest of the island is a Republic with a President. It might surprise those who followed the recent election that Ireland did in fact have a "king" already during that election campaign.

I've struck the above hook as I had some concerns about it, but I still think there should be a viable hook in there somewhere and may propose something a little later. Gatoclass (talk) 03:57, 31 March 2019 (UTC).

Sorry about the wrong title for the Prince of Wales - I think that one is correct (but hey, it's not as if I have a history degree!) I guess the ALT3 is better than what I offered.

Yes, ALT4 looks okay too, but I cannot personally verify either ALT3 or ALT4 because they are basically my own hook or a variant thereof, so we're still waiting on an independent reviewer for this one. Gatoclass (talk) 14:52, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Article is new enough, just long enough (1566 prose characters per DYKcheck), neutral, and well cited, with no sign of copyvio or close paraphrasing. ALT3 and ALT4 are both sourced in the article and the cited sources, are well under the 200-character limit, and neutral, as well as suitable for April Fools' Day.
