Paul Gascoigne
[edit]- ... that the National Football Museum described Paul Gascoigne as "the most naturally gifted English midfielder of his generation"?
- ALT1:... that Paul Gascoigne scored ten goals during his career with the England national football team?
- ALT2:... that the Daily Mirror were so impressed with Paul Gascoigne's goal against Scotland in Euro 1996, they called him a "football genius"?
- ALT3:... that Paul Gascoigne's Spitting Image puppet (pictured) is now exhibited in the National Football Museum?
- Comment: Third party nom. Image mainly useful for ALT3, though the other ALTs are more BLP friendly
Improved to Good Article status by EchetusXe (talk). Nominated by Ritchie333 (talk) at 21:26, 5 October 2014 (UTC).
- Recently promoted as a GA; date and length OK. The article is neutral and I could detect no copyvio. All the hooks are OK; the original and ALTs 1 and 3 are confirmed by online citations (ALT2 has an offline source which is AGF ). I personally prefer the original hook, but would settle for any. The image is free to use but is not of good quality. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 12:39, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
