- ... that most fish leeches cling onto their hosts with suckers but Acanthobdella peledina is unusual in that it uses hooked bristles for this purpose?

Both articles are new and long enough. QPQ done. I have checked the references I can access and everything seems alright. There does not appear to be any close paraphrasing. Given that Cwmhiraeth is a reputable editor and a regular contributor to DYK, it is easy to assume good faith regarding the offline sources. There is a tiny problem with the hook: the first part is not followed immediately by an inline citation. I suppose reference [2] covers it but it should be explicit.
