Pizza cake

[edit]

Cake in the pan

  • ... that a single pizza cake may contain more than 3,000 calories?

  • It had to happen - a pizza you could fall face down into at some eating contest and not care you're rotting your arteries. LOL - I'm salivating over the top image at NPR. If you could make one of these and post an image at Commons, maybe it could be the lead? Just another thought for an alt hook:
*ALT2 ... that a 6-layer pizza cake can contain as much as 5,000 calories and have "an obscene amount of cheese"?

  • Actually, my mom cooked one for my brother's birthday last January. I'm checking if she still has the pictures. ALT2 is fine with me. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:49, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Awaiting word from Crisco 1492 about an image. Don't know if anyone else has to review ALT 2, since I came up with it. Crisco 1492, if you want to make all 3 hooks available, leave as is. If you want to narrow it down, please cross out the others. — Maile (talk) 16:20, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Possible April Fools Day hook?

ALT3 ... that this cake (pictured) is a pie? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 04:25, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
Stated in the article and sourced 4 — Maile (talk) 12:33, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Article passes, with ALT3 requested for April Fools Day. — Maile (talk) 12:26, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Nixing picture, as the joke is too obvious with an image. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 12:44, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
  • I've inserted the other image from the article. I think it works that way, totally looks like an angel food cake in a pan. But if you disagree, Crisco, revert me. — Maile (talk) 12:56, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
