Polistes japonicus

  • This article is new enough and long enough. I have struck three of the hooks and tweaked the fourth, ALT2, which has inline citations for its facts. The article is neutral and I failed to find instances of close paraphrasing/copyright violations. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:48, 19 November 2014 (UTC).
Can we rephrase ALT2? I read it as someone introduced a 'pest of bananas' to Okinawa rather than a pest fed on leaves from a banana plant, creating a place for wasps to overwinter, that were then brought to Okinawa. Fuebaey (talk) 15:12, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
How about
  • ALT2b ... that on Okinawa, the wasp Polistes japonicus found a new place to overwinter after the arrival on the island of a new banana pest?
  • ALT2c ... that on Okinawa, the wasp Polistes japonicus found a new place to overwinter after the arrival on the island of a new banana plantation pest? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:20, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, reads better now. Fuebaey (talk) 20:00, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
