  • This article is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain and the article is neutral. I detected no copyright issues. The hook is unsatisfactory as it does not state in the article what the purpose of the painting was, nor does it affirm in the main text that the painting was a triptych wing, merely using the word "probably". So I think we need a different hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:17, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

ALT1: ... that Hans Memling's Portrait of Maria Portinari was probably commissioned as a triptych wing by her politically ambitious Italian husband so he could gain favour with Lorenzo de' Medici?

  • ALT1 is satisfactory and this nomination is good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:08, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
  • Cheers Cwmhiraeth. Appreciate the look. Ceoil (talk) 09:03, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
