  • Currently too short. 651 characters of prose only. It needs to be 1,500 or more. Ka Faraq Gatri (talk) 11:26, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
  • This is a short article about an old film. I have added a book source now. --Commander (Ping Me) 20:16, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
  • Still missing references. "major hit at the box office?" 1967 remake? Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:01, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
  • The Hindu source dates the movie as 1941, not 1939... I'm confused. Per WP:TRIVIA, the trivia section should be merged into the body of the article. Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:34, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
  • Ya it talks about two different films made in 1939 and 1941 respectively. However, both films have the same story line.--Commander (Ping Me) 15:44, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
  • I could not find a suitable section for merging that, so incuded that in lead. --Commander (Ping Me) 01:35, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
Okay. I will try and copyedit the article first, then I will approve. ALT hook: ... that Prahalada was made 20 times in numerous languages, with the remakes generally being successful at the box office?

  • Okay, I've copyedited the article. It is a little on the short side, but I think it is ready to pass. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:37, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
