  • Article created on April 25 and nominated 2 days later so that's all good. Article has no obvious bias, though it describes the BNP as "extreme right-wing" which whilst probably accurate it should be noted at their article they are only listed as far-right. Also the reliability of the website "atheismnorthernireland.com" which is used as a reference to support the link between the Protestant Coalition and Britain First could be debated, and a reference that is used four times for various statements just links to the home page "electoralcommission.org.uk", which is concerning. Hook could use some comas after 'Dowson' and 'fundraiser', or rewording (i.e... that former BNP fundraiser Jim Dowson is registered...). That brings me to the next point - "BNP" has many meanings, as is indicated by this disambiguation page - BNP. Accordingly I don't think it should be abbreviated in the hook, even though it is wikilinked. Is it just me or is the phrase "loyalist political party Protestant Coalition in Northern Ireland" a bit much? (too many links or just too much info), I think that could perhaps be shortened, such as changing "loyalist political party" to "loyalist party", and wikilinking that to, say, Ulster loyalism instead of to two separate pages. The reference that supports the paragraph the hook is derived from is an offline one, so I cannot check it, though the hook is also supported by ref No. 6 [1] - that ref should be used as an inline citation in the paragraph that mentions Dowson is a BNP fundraiser. I formatted some bare URL's at the article because bare URL's give me the heebie-jeebies but I have made no changes to the prose or facts. Date and length OK, however I would feel more comfortable if the Irish News source (which is being used to cite the hook) had a link in the ref to an online source. Is it possible for this to be done before I clear it? The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 15:21, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
