Qiu Huizuo
[edit]- ... that although General Qiu Huizuo (pictured) was persecuted at the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, he authorized the torture of 462 people after returning to power, causing eight deaths?

- A new enough, long enough and balanced enough article despite the partisan nature of some of the sources. The article hints some things that are not fully explained, like why was Qiu labelled a counterrevolutionary or how did he wreak havoc in the GPD? (I'm aware that the source did not elaborate on this point) But as this is a DYK nom and not GA, these points are not important to the nomination. The hook is interesting, and is adequately cited. Picture is of good quality and free to use. QPQ done. Good to go. _dk (talk) 07:25, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
