R. Stevie Moore[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by Ilovetopaint (talk). Self-nominated at 13:24, 6 March 2018 (UTC).

  • Article is recently passed to GA, is long enough and conforms to relevant policies on neutrality and formatting. It is comprehensively covered, well ordered and free from copyright issues according to earwigs copyvio (earwig is picking up several quotations which are clearly indicated). I also like the balance of quotes, text and images, and the addition of sound file.
Hook is within policy, with all the salient points covered by the two citations, and is interesting to a general public as well as music fans.
It’s an easy hook to pass. My only comment is I understood with an image the hook should read that R. Stevie Moore (pictured) is an outsider musician who pioneered modern indie music, earning him the sobriquet "the godfather of home recording"?. Apart from that, good to go, and excellent article. I replaced "is an outsider musician" to "(pictured)" in light of that suggestion.--Ilovetopaint (talk)
Looks fine, succinct, and hopefully the image will be included now. Mramoeba (talk) 16:25, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
