... that a British mission met the Thanjavur Maratha ruler Raghunatha Nayak in 1624 to negotiate a trade agreement but later rejected the Nayak's offer of Karaikal due to the high rent demanded by him??

Article is long enough, new enough, nominated in time and have inline citations. Article needs copyediting. Hook is interesting, short enough and hook-source is accepted AGF. QPQ is missing. Mentoz86 (talk) 14:25, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

It's been 15 days since my first message about this problem on the nominator's talk-page, and 7 days since my second message. The editor have been active on other parts of Wikipedia, so I think we should reject this. Mentoz86 (talk) 20:10, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
