General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.
Overall: This is a very interesting article with a comprehensive rolling stock list, and surprisingly all relevant photographs. Thus, I fully endorse it to be shown on WP:DYK. So far it is not completely clear to me, to whom some the very descriptive citations such as "'particularly poor' seating in 'dingy saloons'" are attributed. I also couldn't check the references for the nicknames, because are not available on-line. Even so, the article is ready to be released onto WP:DYK. NearEMPTiness (talk) 12:06, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
