SMS Novara (1913)[edit]

Novara during World War I
Novara during World War I

Improved to Good Article status by Parsecboy (talk). Nominated by Oceanh (talk) at 21:28, 14 October 2016 (UTC).

  • The article is newly promoted to GA status, so its new enough and long enough. QPQ done. The hook is not to long with 117 characters. - "The Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye" part is sourced with Sondhaus, p. 360 which does not mention Novara or saint Germain treaty at page 360. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 21:08, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
  • Thank you for the review. I AGF'ed on this offline reference, which was cited directly after the relevant sentence. On Sondhaus, page 360 is a reference to the "postwar peace treaty" (searchable in Google Books), and a treatment of the "liquidation of the Austro-Hungarian fleet" (indexed), which included the cruiser Novara. Since I can not access the full page on Google books, I try calling @Parsecboy: maybe they can give you a better answer? Oceanh (talk) 22:34, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
  • The citation should have also included page 359, but it's worth pointing out that the bit about Novara going to France is cited to Gardiner & Gray, not Sondhaus. Parsecboy (talk) 22:43, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
  • New reviewer needed, since old one has never returned. Please be sure to check the article for neutrality and close paraphrasing, as those are required checks for DYK that don't seem to have been done as yet. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:41, 3 November 2016 (UTC)
  • New enough, long enough and QPQ done. Hook length is fine. Hook is interesting and mentioned is the article. AGF on book source. No copy vios, neutrality issues or other policy issues. Image is used in article, free and the size is fine. — Yellow Dingo (talk) 01:36, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
