  • New and long enough, interesting subject and referenced hook. Good to go. Javier Espinoza (talk) 07:34, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
  • There are 1421 prose characters; the minimum for DYK is 1500. In addition, the Devens and Pease clauses of the hook do not have an inline citation after the end of the sentence that contains them. Finally, there are only two sources for this, both written by the same author. Anything at all from some other author or publication? BlueMoonset (talk) 05:58, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
  • I've expanded it enough, although there might be the need to fix the prose a tad bit. In terms of publications, the newspapers are the best bet, and then the secondary sources also help, although they also contradict the newspapers, so I used that in there in order to expand the prose. • I'm just not seeing the notability here. AFDed. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 22:30, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
  • AfD closed as "delete"; article has been deleted, so nomination has to close. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:39, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
